The museum housed in the Royal Collegiate Basilica of San Isidoro in León, a jewel of Spanish Romanesque art, has undergone extensive renovation to improve the conservation and exhibition of its valuable collections.
Managed by Frade Arquitectos, renowned for their experience in the restoration of heritage spaces, the intervention has tripled the exhibition space, offering a new circular itinerary for visitors and displaying pieces that could not be exhibited until now.
Ypunto played a key role in the materialisation of the project, developing all the exhibition furniture and ensuring that each piece integrates harmoniously into the museum's historical setting.
The company also installed all the exhibits, guaranteeing the correct layout and conservation.
In addition, Ypunto designed specific mounts for each exhibit on display, adapting to their specific characteristics and the established museographic discourse.
Thanks to this collaboration, the collegiate's treasures are now displayed in all their glory, offering visitors an enriching experience that respects the history and art preserved within the walls of San Isidoro.
